Methodology based on
the levels of consciousness

How does all of this work now specifically?
I often hear the following: Yes, I understand that in theory, but how can I imagine a session?
My advice is: try before you buy – or experience before you understand. Nevertheless, I'd like to share some basic principles of my approach, which is based exclusively on Palacio's method. He was also the one who so precisely developed the triad of levels of consciousness.
My approach is to avoid reading from pre-prepared , fixed scripts – unlike many other therapists and coaches. Instead of using set templates or procedures, I design each session individually with you.
For this, I naturally need information and data. This means it starts with a preliminary consultation, during which I will ask for the data I need to create a wonderful, individual, and tailor-made session for you.
Every session is a dialogue .
Each session is solution- and resource-oriented .

Hypnosis
• Mental relaxation • Emotional memory Hypnosis is, in fact, a state of mental relaxation. This is a completely natural and human state. Everyone is already familiar with it—perhaps just without the label "(hypnotic) trance." When you get up in the morning and fall asleep at night, this is the state regulated by the brain. But we also encounter this state of consciousness again and again in everyday life. For example, during repetitive tasks, the brain wanders. Eventually, it "thinks," metaphorically speaking: "Okay, I don't need to be rational anymore. I don't have to calculate anything, discuss anything rationally, search for arguments, or create pro and con lists; I can just daydream a little." When you are in this state of mental relaxation, you become very creative and sometimes also emotional. So, from my definition, hypnosis means that we activate the functions the brain can perform that are responsible for creativity and emotion—in other words, emotional memory. The brain has a whole range of different functions and produces a variety of states of consciousness. Hypnosis is the kind that takes place on the level of mental relaxation and truly has this creative and emotional component. This means that when we allow the brain to work in this state, we also find past experiences, imprints, both positive and negative—simply everything that has to do with emotional creativity. This means I have the tools to guide you into this state and then use it for the subsequent therapeutic and dialogical process.
• Creative • Emotional • Memorable • Dreamy When you're in this state of mental relaxation, you become very creative and sometimes even emotional. So, from my definition, hypnosis means activating the functions the brain is capable of, specifically those intended for creativity and emotion—in other words, emotional memory. The brain has a whole range of different functions and produces various states of consciousness. Hypnosis is the kind that takes place on the level of mental relaxation and truly incorporates this creative and emotional component. This means that when we allow the brain to work in this state, we can also access past experiences, imprints, both positive and negative—simply everything related to emotional creativity. As an expert, I have the tools to guide you into this state, which your brain naturally induces anyway.
• Emotional re-evaluation = • Changing a feeling in context, i.e., replacing an unwanted feeling with a desired one.
Preliminary discussion, induction, effects, emergence, follow-up discussion, and guidance As already described, everyone can induce a hypnotic state themselves, and the brain does this occasionally throughout the day. As a therapist and coach, I can intentionally facilitate this process. Of course, you are also your brain, and ultimately, you decide how deeply you want to relax in this moment. This means you are essentially doing it yourself. You can hear me the entire time. I simply guide you into a state of conscious dreaming. How can you imagine this? I mentally and verbally transport you to a beautiful place, for example, a beach or a meadow. You choose this yourself, and then, when you close your eyes, your brain already receives enough of a signal to determine: "Okay, a kind of relaxation is coming my way." And then it switches into this state relatively automatically and independently. Once we've reached that state, the actual session begins, and then we simply explore where you've experienced your desired feeling, the one you mentioned in our preliminary discussion, where you've experienced it before or might experience it in the future. Then we reactivate that feeling because, by my definition and in my opinion, hypnosis is about changing a feeling in a specific context. That means you tell me what feeling you want in that situation within that context, and then together we first reactivate that feeling and then transfer it to the context in which you'd like to experience it. That's how the session is structured. Afterward, we anchor everything, meaning I'll ensure that you can take away souvenirs from the session, things you can easily recall and further deactivate later on. In your everyday life, that's what makes the whole thing so sustainable, and then you come back to the here and now, and then we discuss everything again. I'll also give you instructions on how you can use all of this in your everyday life, or what further steps could be, and that's it. That's why I like to call it talk therapy with your eyes closed. So it's like therapy, a conversation, a dialogue, and you simply have your eyes closed and are mentally relaxed.
The reasons for consultation (problems/concerns) can, in my view, be divided into: 1) getting rid of or alleviating something 2) building or strengthening something Typical examples from category 1): • Anxieties • Addictions (especially common: smoking, overeating, alcohol) • Imprints • Interpersonal traumas • Blockages • Pain • Symptoms of illness • Overweight • Obsessive thoughts • Stress • Insomnia Typical examples from category 2): • Motivation • Self-esteem • Inner peace • Forgiveness • Self-confidence • Burnout prevention • Resilience • Ability to accept criticism • Focus • Clarity • Energy and strength • Self-healing abilities • Performance (e.g., in sports)
Talk and mindset work
• waking awareness
• rational argumentative • reflective • critical Invaluation-based talk therapy is a unique method developed by Gabriel Palacios. It is distinct from traditional psychotherapy. What is it like to experience a session with me? The conversation, or dialogue, takes place in a fully conscious state. This is the state or mode of brain function that allows for discussion, argumentation, weighing options, and reflection. Therefore, it could also be described as rational or logical—or simply as conscious. We consciously direct our thoughts, for example, to calculate something, understand something, or weigh arguments.
• Positive Revaluation = • Rational re-evaluation or acceptance: recognizing the advantages and disadvantages of everything, both positive and negative, identifying, examining, or adjusting beliefs • Accepting and changing certain aspects • Reactivating or creating new resources The "In-Valuation" method gets its name from its function: re-evaluating (in-)valuing something. The goal of every conversation is to recognize that everything is both positive and negative. Everything has light and shadow sides. Life is characterized by polarity. You come to the session with a goal and a concern, and we work together to develop the conscious, rational thought patterns that can enable you to achieve it.
Preliminary consultation, follow-up discussion, and guidance I work in a way that doesn't rely on pre-prepared, rigid scripts—unlike many other therapists. Instead of fixed process templates or procedures, I tailor each session individually with you. Of course, this requires information and data. This means I go through a questionnaire and take notes. You'll find that you've probably never asked yourself most of these questions before. They're quite unusual. In this conversational approach, they form the framework for our conversation. They serve as guidelines and structure. This is where the method's enormous power lies: I ensure that you don't get lost in thought spirals, but rather always focus on solutions and resources and find your way back. Depending on your concerns and the available information, there are various approaches and tools that I select individually. Based on your answers, I know exactly how a session will unfold. Every session concludes with a result that you take home with you. ...

Meditation
• superconsciously from a meta-perspective (higher-level perspective)
• Focused, concentrated • Observant • Emotionless, non-judgmental • Possibly spiritual Of all methods, meditation is probably the best known. At least everyone has some idea of what it is. But how is it used therapeutically or guided? This is something different and new for most people. Experience shows that it can have an enormous effect. It is therefore a type of guided and dialogical meditation. The meditative level is also often referred to as superconsciousness. From such a higher perspective (also called meta-perspective), sudden, often very unexpected, "aha!" moments and unforeseen insights arise. However, it is relatively strenuous for the uninitiated because it requires a high level of concentration and focus to avoid slipping into a state of mental relaxation.
• Acceptance, attaining freedom from judgment (or) • Recognition When someone comes to me for a meditation session, the goal is to accept something. It is usually something that can no longer be changed, so the path to inner peace and tranquility is acceptance without judgment. It is neither good nor bad. It simply is. In this sense, meditation has no goal. It simply is. Nevertheless, through the induction of a meditative trance, insights often arise that are not consciously induced, but simply come. Some describe this as a sudden inspiration, a universal or spiritual realization, an "aha" moment. Suddenly, everything somehow makes sense—that is how it is experienced. Recognition
Preliminary consultation, guided meditation, cooldown, and follow-up discussion (with guidance if needed) This type of meditation is truly unique and exceptional. We meditate with specific aspects. We don't just meditate aimlessly (which can also be very beneficial), but rather focus on specific (partial) aspects of your concerns. I don't simply read from pre-prepared, fixed scripts – as many other therapists do. Instead of fixed process templates or procedures, I tailor each session individually with you. For this, I naturally need information and data. This means I go through a questionnaire and take notes. You'll find that you've never asked yourself most of these questions before. They are quite unusual. Then you close your eyes, and I guide you into a state of meditative trance. We use various techniques to gain a broader perspective and meditate in dialogue. I will ensure that you don't get lost in thought spirals, but always find your way back to meditation. Depending on your needs and available information, there are various approaches I will choose individually. This leads to several insights, or sometimes even a key insight, which we will "preserve" so that you can take it home with you.
• Things that cannot (or can no longer) be changed • Desire for overarching insights
